Having trouble housetraining your puppy? Does she not know how to tell you she needs to go out? Do you miss your her signal and only realize she needed to pee when you step in the puddle? Have you tried hanging bells with no luck, or is your dog afraid of them?
This new product is a fantastic way to housetrain your dog in a positive, rewarding way.
The Tell Bell is unique because it sits by the door, out of the way, and is only rung when the dog needs to go outside. The result is a higher success rate than hanging bells.
Each Tell Bell box includes two Tell Bells and a step by step instructional DVD and manual. Yes, that’s right, it comes with a DVD! YOU CAN DO THIS!
OK, we know that housetraining isn’t rocket science, but we do know that a lot of dogs are given up because they aren’t housetrained. It also makes it difficult to visit friends and family if your dog isn’t trained.
We tested this product because we were a little skeptical… I mean, this seems kind of like an obvious, “Why didn’t I think of this?” product, right? But we laughed a little and we tried it. It WORKS. Loki has always used hanging bells and he knows targeting too, so this was easy for him. But, little Sammy is afraid of the hanging bells and sometimes forgets to tell us when she needs to go out. I taught Sammy to ring the bell for a little bit of cheese, but I figured she would forget all about it the next day, but she didn’t! By then end of the day we took down the hanging bells and both dogs are now using the Tell Bell every time they needed to go out! They think it’s fun, and I don’t have to worry about cleaning up a Yorkie sized puddle. Imagine how great not cleaning up a Lab sized puddle would be!
Also, this is a great target. If you’ve never done targeting with your dog, you should try it out. Targeting is a fun trick and it’s a good way to teach your dog to go to his “spot” rather than beg for food or knock over visitors.
Warning… after a few days of this you are going to feel like a butler. Ding Ding “OK already I’m coming…”
