Sammy has tested all of the products we sell and given them her stamp of approval. She is a spoiled princess who has a passion for chewing, napping, and messing up her topknot. Watch for her modeling with our products so that you can see them in action!

He makes sure we get your emails! He also gives a male perspective to the site, making sure we carry some products that appeal to male dog owners.
When we got Loki, he was a Yorkshire TERROR. He needed some major obedience training. After speaking with several local trainers, we found someone who helped us to communicate with Loki. We found out he will do anything for a treat. Then we found out that most of the treats at the chain stores made him sick! Finally, we found Buddy Biscuits and Charlee Bears and we started to pay attention to ingredients. We could not believe how much junk was in dog food and treats!
We had so much fun taking classes with Loki that we kept going! Loki got his Canine Good Citizen and along the way we learned about things like puzzle toys that can give active dogs some mental stimulation. We also got to see how products like no-pull harnesses can be used as tools for the regular dog owner to help control and train their dog. Soon we became so interested in dog stuff that we just kept reading and learning. Eventually, friends and neighbors started to ask us for advice about their dogs.
After a while, we realized we were recommending products that were generally not available in one spot. Most reasonable people are not going to drive 5 towns over or order 4 products from 3 different websites. I would find myself recommending something and then not being able to suggest a convenient place to purchase it! So our goal is to provide you with some of the best quality products out there. We aren’t going to offer 4 kinds of clean up bags if one is vastly superior! And we promise to eventually carry those wonderful training harnesses and other tools. Since every dog loves treats and toys, we decided to start there and we think we started with the best!
Barkaholics will try to be unique and avoid carrying the same products as the chain stores unless those products truly deserve our attention. We want to share with you the creative, innovative products that are out there. Our primary goal is to help you have a better relationship with your dog.
Also, just because we have Yorkies does not mean we only love little dogs. We have allergies and we love dogs, so that means Yorkies (and we do love our little monsters!) However, Sammy and Loki have plenty of big dog friends who are happy to test things out for us, especially the treats! We would love it if you would share your big dog stories with us. We promise to love your dogs as much as we love our own!
